Ebay? WTF????????

Regularly go on looking for 7mm scale railway items of interest.

Today, I was surprised to find that my usual saved search turned up 2,416, 412 items:eek:

And further surprised to find that not ONE on the first page bears even the smallest resemblance to a 7mm scale railway item:mad:

Anyone any idea what has happened?

ray54 27 April 2018 12:42 PM

I just know the tread is going to get hilarious............. thank you, thank you, thank you. :notworthy

Its a open book(timetable )for the jokers on hear and it won't take long to go off the rails.

FULL STEAM AHEAD.....

I,ll start with a subtle one.............just to stoke the fire.

Nqw that takes me back some!, I think i probably liked watching T the T.E. more than my son did all those years ago. :)

Has the EBay question been sussed out? or have we ground to a halt....

FranK RA 28 April 2018 10:55 AM

yabbadoo4 28 April 2018 11:36 AM

he,s running late, like most trains..........

EddScott 28 April 2018 12:20 PM

Ebay may have changed what is being included. They do it often. I collect old RC cars and it's become quite tricky sifting through the unrelated stuff.

Have you looked for narrow gauge groups on FB. I've got a small OO gauge collection but sadly nowhere for a layout at the moment.

alcazar 28 April 2018 01:00 PM

No, it's not narrow gauge, it's 7mm scale "O" gauge steam and diesel locos.

Got to love the attention to detail............:thumb:

Yes, the manufacturers even went to the trouble of having a moulding made for the nameplates, which were distinctive, and wouldn't have looked so good as a transfer.

Two motors, all wheel drive, rotating fans and switchable lighting, (headcode boxes and tail lights), plus switchable cab lights.
