Hi Bazil
Would you post to Denmark? Got a 2005 Forester
Any plans makeing for Classics
Can do, drop me a pm. For classics I could but I don't have a fuel flap to check it on! If you can send me a picture of the inside surface of the filler flap I could take a look.
It is a cool model, but the thingyverse licensing prevent commercial use so I wouldn't be able to sell it. In any case depending how big it is, it would be pretty expensive due to the time required to set-up and print the different parts.

Classics don't need them !!
I'm suprised newage do, most car manufacturer's allow for fuel filler cap to be stored.

Damn! After all this time, I had no idea what that recess thing was for!
Cheers.
The ironic thing is, is that I have switched out the OEM cap for an aftermarket locking one. It has an annoying 'dome' thing at the end...and as such will now not fit into said recess!
I could go back to the OEM one...but the locking one trumps the otherwise convenience of the flap's cap holder feature.
Received mind today. Thankyou.
My string bit was broken aswell so this is a lifesaver. Though I remember hating the cap just hanging there on the panel on my bugeye years ago.
