Default 3D Printed Fuel Filler Cap Holder

Originally posted here: https://www.scoobynet.com/general-te...ge-models.html

3D Printed Fuel filler filler cap holder for various Subaru models. This prevents the filler cap from sitting against the dirty wheel arch when you fill up with scooby snax.... Completely self contained item, fitment is easy, simply push in to the fuel filler flap, no bonding or additional fixings required.

They are made from 3D printed PETG material for increased durability.

Fitment:
- Confirmed: Newage Impreza saloon and wagon(*)
- Confirmed: Forester sti models
- Confirmed: SG Forester XT 05
- presumed to fit other models also

Simply pushes in-between the inner and outer panels as per the below image.

Options:
- slimline = £5 delivered to UK, gifted on paypal
- normal = £8.50 delivered to UK, gifted on paypal
- With wording* = £12 delivered to UK, gifted on paypal

All work fine, the cost difference is a little material but mostly Royal Mail postage
*with "Scoobs" or any other short wording embossed inside, PM me to see what can fit

Colours:
Currently I only have black PETG filament, but there are many other colours of filament available. PM and we can negotiate a price.

PM me to order!

(* please advise when ordering)

Fitment and original condition:

Due to a filament ordering error these are now also available in "Smokey black", which is a sort of semi transparent black colour so light partially shines through it.

Same price as above.

Drop me a PM!

Bazil, If I take some decent photos of the Classic GC8 fuel flap's gap - between its inner and outer skins - with dimensions etc, do you reckon you'd be able to create a prototype for it?

Yep, I don't see why not - that'd be great! Though I thought classics already had one? The Fozzie one is the same as the Impreza one, BrownPants printed one and confirmed it

If you do want to measure I'd expect the structure of the fuel flap to be the same/similar, then I think I need:

- panel gap between inner and outer panel
- width and height of the inner panel aperture
- distance from the top of the filler cap grab part to the outer skin of the car (for clearence when the flap is shut)

Having said all of that, I wouldn't be surprised if they were the same or very similar!

Yeah, those were all the dimensions I was thinking of!

Plus the diameter, and depth of the filter cap's thread.

However, seeing how cheap they are, I might simply 'take a chance' on the Fozzie pattern one, based on your info.

Can you print one in BLACK, with the
" STi " logo?
