Default Fuel lines- push fit v an fit in a rally car

Having replaced engine I was hoping to use my old fuel lines and rails, but looks like they are leaking so that's that!

I currently have parallel fuel lines with an fittings, but I have also had them come loose in the past, which doesn't end well.

So I wanted to go with push fit lines( on proper barbed fittings with fuel hose clamps) as I trust that, but been advised by supplier against it.

It is in my rally car, which sees Tarmac and dirt, but standard fuel pressure - so any views on what people use in competition cars?

I know an fittings look pretty- that is of no interest to me- I can't see if they are loose easily

if you use quality fittings correctly installed then there should be no issues??

one of the reasons we generally only use/supply Goodridge and Earls

Wouldn't go for push fit with 3-4 bar fuel pressure trying to push them off.

Go for the goodridge stuff.

It was goodridge that came loose, albeit that was in the days when I didn't check everything myself- but even then loctite only lasted a while on them.

3 bar is standard fuel pressure and Subaru use push fit, and even on my an fuel line setup there is at least one push fit to the fpr.

So the weak point is there as standard and car is restricted . I appreciate im just arguing now, but have gone with expensive push fit and the proper fuel clamps - I will give it a few months and see but appreciate views genuinely

Fair play. Am just going on my experience of the push fit stuff blowing off.
As they say in the states YMMV.
