Push fit 3d Printed Fuel Filler Cap Holder - Newage Models
 

I've no idea why the car doesn't have one of these anyway so I've created a push fit fuel filler cap holder. Uploaded to Thingiverse here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2773062

It was designed for my Hawk, but I would imagine it would also fit other models / years. (Forester confimed)

Hopefully useful for someone else to!

My classic, you twist the filler cap into two prongs on the door...looks like they are there on the newage too?

i would certainly be interested in one of these as my filler cap doesnt hang anymore as the long thin piece snapped

Maybe on older cars or maybe someone removed something from mine before I bought it.

In any case, this is what it looks like. The tab pushes in-between the inner and outer skins at the bottom and side.

Checked my fuel flap and it defo doesn’t come with one
although the Citroen does have one :eek: :lol1:

Neat idea:thumb:just what i need as my plastic cable has snapped that joins the filler cap to the petrol flap, bugs me having to sit the filler cap on the boot lid/roof or the petrol pump

That's great, I like it. My cord has snapped too so I've been jamming the cap into the fuel pump filler trigger so my car gets filled without me squeezing the trigger!
