I know 2 people with a toe rag. Both had expensive problems luckily under warranty.both got rid quickly afterwards.one had the differential explode just driving down the road at 30 mph.

It's VWs attempt to compete with BMW and Audi along the SUV Coupe style. Think of a Tiguan with less room http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/new/troc

Don't do it honestly plagued with small problems which are expensive and big problems which will put your light out. Parking sensors, rear camera, ABS sensors, headlight levelling, imho not fit for towing, diffs, turbos, fuel pumps if diesel, could go on but you get the idea. There not a good vehicle.

Ok guys narrowed it down even further to the Tiguan as it was mentioned i really like the shape only just took notice on how nice they look
it will be new but it’s for keeps not going to sell it so need to get it right first time round
What you all reckon on spec etc ?
I would like an auto with leathers not arsed if big engine e5c
biggest thing is reliability and if it’s not then I guess I’ll stick to the mobility Citroen dispatch after I’ve sold Subaru next year and stop bugging you guys
I really like this colour
Thankyou again for everyone’s input so far

We didn't go the top spec but it has all the warning stuff for blind spot and proximity sensors around the car, decent entertainment system, navigation, convenience and comms etc. It seems like they are cheaper over here since diesel-gate (hence, I took advantage of that when I first got here and got the GTI). You cannot get diesel here though, for that reason. Also, I think it is the longer wheelbase over here by default. I've chucked it around enough and it handles just fine.

That looks exactly like the wife's car that we just got, color wise. It's leather interior, 7-seater if you fold out the seats in the trunk area. The one we have is only the 180bhp 2.0 FSI or whatever but it is fine considering round here it is either motorway cruising or stop start traffic, it's pokey enough.

It’s the colour I’ll be getting and it’ll be top spec as I’m not going down the mapping or modding route etc just polishing maintenance and driving it
I’ll be ordering mine in April/May time and put the impreza in storage if it doesn’t sell first time round won’t keep on advertising it as some do as not desperate for the cash
it’s only going to go up in value over next 10years as the numbers gradually decrease in the jdm blobeye market
