So Brexit seems to be a good thing then.

Government have lost the vote tonight and they also lost the vote on a new election. The lord's also look set to pass the law this week even if they have to camp in the chamber until it's passed. Johnson has overplayed his hand and is now unable to legally stand by his desire to leave on 31st October "come what may".
Got to feel sorry for all the Brexiteers though who only last week were gloating because of the proroguing, they seem to have gone quiet again this week.

Looks like Johnson has caved late last night and agreed to pass the anti-no-deal bill before they prorogue!

Not much details yet, but looks to be along the lines of the government giving in to extending Brexit past the end of October and Labour will support the call for a general election!

He's a fool really! He should have kept his oar out of the whole Brexit debate, wait for it to pass, then he could have rolled in a popular Conservative leader and would easily have won an election. Brexit has ruined his reputation and popularity and his time as PM will probably be short lived!

This is of far less importance now anyway...could be seen as belt and braces to prevent a no deal, but things have moved on from when this was first lodged. She is going to appeal anyway so it ain't over

What do you stand to gain if we crash out of the EU with no deal?

why is it that people say crap like this?
the political specturm is not black and white, labour, tories, lib dems and brexit party are neither far right nor far left. If you really think so then i think you need to step away and get some perspective on what that truly means.

The point he is making is that the current direction of the Tory party (well what's left of them...) is not centralist and is pushing a populist agenda. Perhaps not far right, but as close as we have been for many, many years and maybe a trend that would continue if supported.
The difference is one word, 'free' aka you have no control and anyone can just wander in. Not saying its right or wrong, all im saying is that doesnt make it far right.
