Honestly...really?

You sure you aren't really Jane form UKIP Felix?

Jane Collins, Ukip’s home affairs spokeswoman, said: “Since we are unable to stop people with criminal records coming to the UK from EU countries it was inevitable crime gangs from poorer countries would come to the UK. This is an excessive burden on our police who have already been cut by Theresa May. Given the threats to security it would be logical to filter out criminals when they arrive in the UK and deport foreign criminals.

“This is why I am very concerned about the transitional free movement arrangements the Government talks about – why should we suffer any more years of free movement of criminals?”

Hmmm... its not like the Express isn't well known for peddling anti-immigration fake news!

So, basically, these trafficked workers from Romania are actually completely legal EU migrant workers and these crime syndicates smuggling them here are what is more commonly known as recruitment agencies and also operating quite legally, and the whole shipping them in and out thing is what we call seasonal workers! Funny how a bit of right wing spin can change the perception of the situation!

Of all these arrests of Romanians, how many of them have actually committed a crime and are charged? Stinks of police prejudice to me, and your unwillingness to consider the larger picture seems to back that up!

What about the costs that all the drunken Brits inflict on the Spanish or Greek police every summer? Or every single time an English football club plays a game in Europe? Should other countries be doing full criminal background checks on Brits and being refused entry to any European country for the rest of your life because you were arrested as a teenager for being drunk in Benidorm? Should those police checks be done on Swedish people? or French? or is it just the crime riddled Eastern Europeans that should be checked?

This makes me laugh! Typical response from the Brexiteers, "they want to do a deal with us!". Summers doesn't say they don't want to do a deal, he just says that the UK has a very weak negotiating point. Of course they are queuing up to do a deal because they know we are desperate, particularly if we crash out without a deal with the EU!

Yes, all quite legally farming cannabis and having pitch battles with others on local streets.
And they are quite happy to declare their business interests over here

But hey, so long as your community is fine.

Wish i bought my holiday money ( euros) near the end of july when it was 1.12 , couple days later i started comparing for upcoming holiday end of august, the shops are now offering like 1.06 !!

Hoping it will go up a few points before end of august, that extra 10/20 euros goes a long way !

Its the Trump approach; keep repeating a statement in the hope that it becomes reality...we are all doomed.

In essence - yes

Where we are, we have a large estates of street housing, which are cheap and usually bought up by housing associations.
These areas are very high in Polish, Romanian, Czech, Slovakians etc. They start off by being placed in the next available houses, so the populations are randomly housed. Over time however, you will find that they all tend to move into the same street areas. And you end up with fights between them all - Czech's don't get on with the Slovaks etc etc and they tend to battle with knives.

So,most nights you will have some sort of disagreement and be presented with broken glass, blood on the paths, doors, cars damaged. And of course,no one wants to tell the police anything - but its not nice for people walking children to school past all of this.

And even if you can keep them separated, you still have the same problems

I'm sorry that is entirely anecdotal, do you expect people to believe there are really wide spread fights between different ethnicities most nights...and again why doesn't it happen in certain London boroughs and other areas of the UK where there are similar ethnic mixes?

I'm not trying to be rude, but your lack of understanding is a bit scary given your role in society

Thing is, my mate is a DI in Merseyside police, and you could just be describing exactly what he tells us about happens there. Except they are all scousers, not Poles, Czechs, Slavs etc. How exactly do you think that the immigration policy caused that or Brexit will sort it?

You can never get crime to zero, but the underlying issue is lack of police, lack of community police, lack of community initiatives, the list goes on. They are all issues caused by our government, Brexit is not going to change that

Your experiences are subjective and influenced by your own bias; be they conscious or unconscious.

These experiences are not necessarily repeatable or measurable and therefore a poor basis to draw a conclusion from.

Yup, all over the world...this is the human condition; there are lots of w@nkers out there that have no empathy for others. Leaving the EU isn’t going to change that...this is the point that is being laboured here time and again.
