So Brexit seems to be a good thing then.

Nissan cutting another two models from UK production!
Not entirely Brexit relation, but shows how the Japanese manufacturers have lost confidence in the UK as a manufacturing base.

And going from diesel to electric.
"Western Europe remains the most challenging and competitive region for premium cars," Infiniti's chief spokesman, Trevor Hale, said.
Instead, Nissan plans to promote the Infiniti brand in the US and Chinese markets.
In the US it plans to focus Infiniti on sports-utility vehicles and in China it plans to launch five new vehicles.
The Infiniti line-up of cars will be electric from 2010 and diesel versions will be discontinued, the company said.

I find it quite funny how many people argue that a second referendum is undemocratic, yet don't complain about a second vote on Theresa Mays Brexit deal after the biggest government defeat in history.
If anything is undemocratic, its Theresa Mays persistance to a deal that has aboslutely no support in parliament from Brexiteers and Remainers alike!

Like i keep saying were never coming out.
Call it conspiracy but there never going to let us leave..
Its all one big agenda. From the day the vote result was read its been one big mission to change minds and force staying in the eu.
Ive said it for ages. We dont control our future we dont dont a choice and should we not come out which was the choice of the public that will just prove that point
Call it conspiracy but there never going to let us leave..

If you mean our government, then possibly, yes, it has been a ruse to silence the far right all along. If that is the case, then it was a dangerous game to play with all the damage to the economy since the result. You'd think that simply trying to address the issues which have made it hard for so many would have been easier!

So...
1. the government offered a free vote on rejecting no deal on 29 March
2. the Prime Minister declared that she would vote for the motion to reject no deal
3. Parliament voted to accept an ammendment to reject no deal permanently.
4. The goverment imposed a three line whip to reject their own motion despite having promised a free vote and reversing their previous stance of supporting it.
5. Parliament voted to accept the motion to permanently reject no deal.
6. The government table an motion for tomorrow to extend article 50 IF Theresa Mays deal is not accepted by the house!
This government has really lost any control yet still seems to think it can plough on with Theresa Mays disaterous deal and go against the will of the parliament.
What a total joke this government is!

Well yes, it was the only ‘threat’ (if you believe if it were ever to invoked).
May’s deal: No
No deal: No
Yet another form of May’s deal is still on the table (to be voted down again and again and again), but no deal is totally off the table?
This is beyond ridiculous, can we petition the queen to dissolve parliament?

It's only a good bargaining chip if you're serious about using it. The reality is that the EU always knew that no deal was far more damaging to the UK than it would be for the EU, so it was always a very weak bargaining chip and almost certain a chip that they UK would be very unwilling to use.

I don't think it was, because although no deal was damaging for the EU, it was nowhere near as damaging as it was for us, and I imagine that the EU had plans in place for no deal, unlike us! They would rather accept damage limtiation exercise with no deal than to give up their principles of the organisation they were defending. No matter what you think of the EU, they did stick to their guns, unlike TM!
We are now in the laughable position that Parliament has rejected:
A customs union
A norway type deal
No deal
TM's deal
That doesn't leave much room for manoeuvre! Unless they revoke, or go back to the people and suck up whatever they vote for, no matter how unpalatable it may be, but I think another referendum would only present remain or something so **** that remain is the only real option.

So what happens if they go against the original vote, call for another referendum and the people vote leave again? What do we do then? It's going to be a hard Brexit.
The longer this goes on, the less certain I am that another vote would mean remain. If by some chance it's the narrowest of margins for remain then can you imagine the public frustration from the leavers and general country discord? It's not going to be a nice place to live for a while. Besides, this whole process has already massively damaged our country regardless of the end result now.
