Tim - forgive me for appearing stupid, but if the offending ester additive made no overall difference to the oil's performance, why did Millers decide to add it in the first place? As a long term user of Millers, I'm now inclined to switch to something else.
I don't think that is stupid at all, I was thinking the same thing. The only reason I can think of is because people like to see 'Triple Ester' on the can, so it could even be put in to keep the numbers up. I wish they would have given me a proper explanation.
