Have a look in the Wheels and Tyres section, there are always threads talking about recommendations for tyres.

For the record Toyos and Goodyear F1's will set you back anything between £80 and £110, depending on size and supplier. Bridgestone SO3 a little more.

Oh and 13k aint bad, had to replace my original RE010 at 10k.

Micheldiver are quite good and quick just make sure you book the tires before you turn up!

Goodyear Eagle F1 215/45/17 cost be £91 per corner fitted.

13k is good for the orginal rubber, you will be amazed with the difference in the car when you get better ones though!

The OE Bridgestone RE011's are good for about 10k fronts and 20k rears....much more or less just down to driving. Watch the geometry on the fronts as the early MY01's had a tendancy to scrub the insides but it's probably been sorted on the later models

Robsta

I'm at a simliar stage. 11k in MY01 WRX. Front inners (particularly O/S) scrubbed.

Could do with slightly longer lasting rubber (Pirelli?) and in need of a geometry check - any ideas anyone on how much for the geo from a main dealer?

My MY01 scrubbed the inside fronts. Think it's due to the geometry setup I have.

Got no idea how much for a main dealer geo setup.

My tyres seem to be going more on the outside rather than the inside.

You lucky g1ts!!!! I got 7k out of a set on my MY01.... I drive fairly sensibly too!!! My MY98 used to get 10K out of a set of fronts. I can't believe the wear all round on my MY01... The geometry is spot on too!!!

How hard do you people drive?.
I have 17in speedlines with PZeros fitted, they were nearly when I brought the car 10k ago and they still look nearly new.
There must be alot of rubber down on the roads where you guys drive.
Cheers.
Ian.
