brake calipers real or fake
Hi everyone this is my first post as I am new to subaru. I bought a green 2001 wrx in November last year. noticed front brakes juddering when braking hard so decided to change discs and pads for brembos. When stripping down brakes I noticed on my front right caliper on 2 of the 4 pistons were working and other side 1 was sticking. A garage close to my work said they could get recon calipers £100 each plus ma old ones they done the job on friday a then noticed that one of the recon calipers does not say subaru on it just has a code reading 2 DIFV. has anyone heard of this before is it a proper subaru part or is a cheap fake.plus the fact it does not look very good on the car would u take it back and demand for it to be changed ? Also find the car a bit sluggish when pulling away any suguestions thanks for reading >.
