Default Anyone running 235 tyres 100pcd?

Not too up on tyres sizes, I'd like to go wider on my Newage wagon than the standard 225 45 17 to a 235 width possibly 40 or 45 profile?, will they fit newage sti 17" 100pcd alloys and not rub?

Cheers

Mine fit fine Kris with no issues, Running 235/40/18 on a set of Rota`s and 225/45/17 on my BBS`s, No rubbing at all but definately a bit more of a harsher ride.

Hi there

We are running on the wagon 245/40 ZR18 and wheels doesn't sticking out from arches,if yes would suggest more camber at front and rear will help fight with this issue

What tyres do you run Jura? It's that time again and I wanted to run 235 this time, seems a hard size to find.

Hi Bez

Those wheels are DRAG DR31 9JX17" ET28

Not sure on the saloon/sedan how it is,but I think you will need roll arches like at front and rear, plus not sure if you will need raise at the rear ride height, but you will see

Should of said we could of folded them round when we painted it.

I wouldn't recommend rolling as it always damages the paint.

Thanks for the info Jura
but the last thing I want to be doing is raising the ride height, so I think I will stick with the 8js I have

Hi Bez

Really not sure on the saloon/sedan,I know only this on wagon we are must raised ride height slightly at rear

Above James@Anger run similar ET on his blob, without the raising ride height

This is mine on 235s 8j 17" et35
with a bit of rear wheel arch rolled.

I can go to 245s on the 8j
but going to be running Dunlop CR311 X22 and the widest one is 220 which works out to be about 235 in normal tyre size, but I might be wrong.

Bez how come you needed to roll the arches to fit 235 tyres? Mine is an older car than yours and I have no problem fitting them on mine and mine is sitting lower with the coilovers.

Steve, running et 45 i was fine, but with the new et35 wheels the 235s were catching, so rolled the arches and I am running 2 deg camber on rear.
I think yours is an Sti, mine is only! a wrx
