Default Brembo GT on Classic, Bell Bolt length

Hoping somebody can help me.

I have just ordered some replacement discs and pads from GODSPEED for my Classic. I have Brembo GT 4 pots with 320 mm discs. The question I have is that I need to know how long the bolts are that hold the Bells to the Rotas as I need to get some replacements as the old ones look a little worse for wear.

i really want to get these bolts for the weekend but can't take off to measure until the weekend, so if anybody knows or has the same that they can measure that will be a great help.

Cheers

Tim

Just to add info , these bells are the red dot ones that fit all the way through the bell wall so are a lot longer than the ones we use in our kits , we have never supplied anyone replacement bolts so don't know the lengths for them

Check out www.yell.com, enter "bolt and nut stockist".

Once you have one out, nip down to your chosen stockist and you'll almost certainly come away with four for under £1.

Note that a lot close at midday Saturday.

Thanks for the Input all. Alyn at AS has suggested 85mm, but I really need to try and measure, thats a job for tonight then!

Thanks for the idea of Nut and Bolt supply. There are 10 per rota and they need to be high tensile so not always stocked by every nut and bolt shop.

Ah......you mean the small ones that hold the disc to the rotor? Sorry, my misunderstanding.

I can almost guarantee that ANY nut and bolt stockist WILL stock high tensile steel bolts

Hi all, thanks for your help. I managed to get a bolt out last night. They are thread length 40mm M6 for future refference. With 20mm of solid unthreaded shaft 12.9 tensile stainless.

I have sorced them from my local bolt store! Thanks Alcazar, they did come up trups, before when I needed some long M12 hi tensile bolts from the same place they let me down.

All sorted, bring on the new brakes and I should fly through MOT! Horray!
