Default Nice wheels for Bugeye ?

Thinking of new wheels , whats out there ? Thinking of Rota Grid Drifts BUT , dont want a mad stretch on tyres , dont want any scrubbing either. Have BC coilovers set slightly lower than Prodrive springs an want 18s. Rough idea on cost if possible too

He is how it sits now.

i think those wheels suit it great tbh, rota grid drifts only look good in the wider versions as these are concave the thinner ones arent.
decent rotas require arch rolling.

im seriously considering wide rotas and im running bc coilovers too and i have been told that once the arches are rolled you will have no problems and as long as you dont got too wide nothing should be effected.

I think the car looks nice with those wheels on mate. You could go 8.5" wide without the need of a roll. I've got 8.75" wide and had to roll the rears although now have room for 9.5's in the future.

the problem with rota drifts is they are not really concave untill you get the wider versions.

the 8.75s arent concave so you wont get the rota look without 9.5 which i assume is charlys reason behind wanting rotas

Agree with you mate. Charly I'd def get the arches rolled and go 9.5 on the rotas to get the aggresive look.

yeah want the look but without the hassle i imagine its low ride height , stiffen the shock roll the arches stretch the tyres , then drive everywhere nice and easy to avoid scrubbing ? otherwise it wont look right ?

might just get spacers for what i have.

if you roll arches, no other mods are needed, this is what i wanted to find out before buying as like you im running bc coilovers and lower ride height.

also i wanted to make sure it wont rub with kids in the back

Chuck some negative camber on it if its close to rubbing on the arches, Rear camber bolts on the back and turn the top mounts on the BC`s on the fronts and you can get more camber there too

I have 18 x 9.5 grid drifts with BC coilovers with very little problem, although thinking of getting arches rolled (when I can find some where local to do them) to be safe and to allow a bit more drop.
