Default Tyre chat.... cont... :)

My wagon needs two tyres prior to it's MOT in a few weeks.. the idea is whatever i buy i'll also match with the fronts in a month or two time.. just got back from tyre place and after having a chat with the fitter he's been recommending Barums?? Not a tyre i'd rush out to buy but he uses them on his classic and loves them... so, any opinions? i've also found two goodyear F1s on the bay for £180 as well as yokohama c drive.. seems well priced too.. the Barums are same price.. my wagon is a blobeye, slightly modded, (mapped etc) and i don't track it.. any tyre suggestions?

Stock rims are 7" wide, so 225 would be a bit too wide. It is of course feasible to mount them but they may not be very stable in fast turns.
