Default AP 6 pot brakes

I have a 355mm AP 6 pot setup. Will AP sell me the carriers to go down to a 330mm disk? Basically is there a part number for the 330mm carriers?

Cheers

330 set up uses a different caliper (5570) and usually a 28mm disc. The 7040 caliper used for the 355 set up is bigger/clunkier (32mm disc) and even if the hole centres and offsets of the 5570 bracket were the same I doubt a 17" wheel would fit which I'd guess is only reason for your question.

The ford boys get the 355mm setup to fit with a 17"! The guys on here say the 330mm fits fine with 17's hence the reason for teh change. Thanks for info on calipers, I didnt realise this and will look into it.

the ali bell of the 355 kit has a PCD of 215.9mm and the 330 set-up is only 203.2mm so the discs dont interchange anyhows..........

also a 355mm disc is 14" diameter in old money..............by the time you get a caliper over the top there is little clearance to fit a 17" wheel, best i have ever seen was a slimline caliper on a 340ish disc!!

if your looking at that route you may well be better off to sell-up an dstart again??
