As above guys.
I took delivery of a set of Brembos today with disc & pads but the discs are shoot.
As I'm on a budget I thought I'd give these ago and was wondering what people thought of them.
I've just sold a set of AP 4pots with ds2500 pads so not expecting them to be up to that standard, I'm just after a set of brake that will stop me without any brake fade.
Link below.
Cheers.
Paul.

to get even close to the AP's your going to need something like the PF pads IMO..............
basic Kevlar stuff will not perform that well personally

alyn

p.s. are you not supposed to ask for recomends before buying stuff??? LOL

Hi Paul,

That's one of more popular fast road packages. Works really well for it's intended use.

Customer feedback on the pads + BrakeTech discs.

Easy to fit, no real dust issues so far, and they do the job better and better as they get some heat into them.

Brake technology has progressed since my first set of Mintex performance pads. You had to add an extra 20 foot to your braking distance when they were cold

With these Kevlar pads it isn't an issue at all

Very good pads and probably worth an extra 15bhp due to the confidence they give you in the braking zones

Speak to Aztec and order them, I don't see how you could possibly be disappointed. If you are going to track the car then he can give you advice about better pads/discs but for the road you will be more than happy.
There are always more hardcore options if needed, but for most people the package you have selected works well.
