Question

I have just fitted OZ super T's to my Sti3 and the wheel nuts don't seem to fit the wheel as well as they did to the standard wheel's.Has anybody had the same problem and if so what is the solution?
Cheers Paul.

I was told the std Subaru nuts on a MY99 are £6 each , so 4 sets of locking ones would be cheaper.

Just phoned select Autos on this No. (02476)465845. They can supply the correct type of nuts in either the closed or open style, at £1 each.

Paul,
I had a similar problem when I got my MY01 wheels.

Have a look at my thread here

I got a set of nuts from a Gary at one of the meets I went to, which was nice.

Cool

I had similar when i changed me alloys over the nuts which came with wheels fitted as they shud but the locking nuts i had previously weren't quite the same shape so i just called the place i got em from & they sent me sum new uns that wood fit totally as they shud.
Didnt fancy leaving unlocked so i used old nuts till they showed up but wheel place said they woodn't hold totally properly, but still they'd hold even less if sum tea leaf had em away
Si

Has anyone tried 5 lots of locking wheels nuts or is this a NO No for safety reasons?

Ray,
don't know anyone who has done this. One reason is, can you imagine the hassle if you have to change a wheel!

Paul - I got replacement wheel nuts with my OZ Super Leggera - partly due to fit issues, mostly due to the silver ones looking crap with the anthracite wheels.

Will show you next pub meet so long as my car is back from the bodyshop...

Simon (still 'enjoying' a 2002 1.6i Focus).
