Unhappy

Car is only 5 months old, callipers faded to grotty green already. Put it down to using Alloy Wheel Cleaner - good for cleaning wheels, bad for callipers.

Solution - one tin of hot black, one tin of hot white and two boring hours. Think it was worth it though

I bet you it took more than two hours!
I painted all my calipers in green, what a fart on, never again mate.
Oh by the way they do look a lot better.

what a difference! well worth it!

out of interest, what took the most time, preparation or the actual painting ? I'm very very tempted to do the same on my MY01...

Prep was easy, wire brush on the end of a drill, zap, wizz done!!
longest was painting the SUBARU and the two lines in white
Jackin the car up took ages tho, using that fiddley little screw driver to turn the jack, scrapping knuckles etc .Then when i put it all away b*$*$*d there was the jack handle stuck to the underside of the wheel cover

Angry

Buggar!

Just changed my brake pads today and started to use the piddly screwdriver...

Normally I'd use a 2 ton hydraulic car jack, 2 jerks and it's all over ;-)

Nice caliper paint job. I think i should spend some time doing mine as they look far wors than yours did.
