Question front pads required for '05 WRX

Hi all
Just purchased an 05 wrx, which is in need of new front pads, this is my first scooby and would appreciate some advice as to what you think are the best pads to fit, and should I be thinking of changing the discs as well, they will be fitted by a garage, who suggested checking forums first to see what the general consensus is

thanks, Rich

Am in the same situation, but an 04 WRX.. Subaru want 200ish for front and rear. EBC redstuff are about the same price. Please advise if there are better alternatives.

From what I have seen here, red stuff does not rate well, I am thinking about getting subaru front pads for now and to start saving for a pads and disc upgrade to the front, I can get the front pads fitted for approx £65, is that price you quoted just for pads?

We can supply you a set of Kevlar Performance Road pads for your model, which are ideal for normal -> fast road. PM me for the best price.

Wouldn't change the discs unless they need doing. Can supply both OEM spec and uprated grooved.

F*** that! Subaru main stealer are having a laugh. You can start at £25/£19 for boggo front and backs, up to whatever you want to spend. People seem to speak to BOB'5 about this quite often, give him a shout.

Hi Bob, ordered the kevlar front pads for 05 WRX, just thought I would go to my garage to check the discs as I am not particularly au fait with all things car related, they have advised that we change the discs at the same, so I need to order some discs to go with the pads, can you hold the order, will ring you 9am thursday to discuss and pay for some discs
