i asked that question to a garage and was told that the pisterns on front calipers are to large for the rear but your best bet is to ask ian at godspeed as he knows his stuff when it comes to breaks

hmm i would of thought taht if you fitted an adjustable brake bias and got it set up correctly it would be fine, just need new disks and a bracket of some sort

I was about to start a thread with nearly exactly the same question as this but about the Subaru 4 pots. Thinking of upgrading my front brakes and thought it would be cool to re-use the fronts as they are in pretty good condition..
Be interesting to see what Ian comes back with.. maybe a front to rear conversion could be a new thing for him!

No point in fitting such big calipers to the rear of your car, they have as much braking force as those k sport 8 pots so it would ruin the way your braking works, you only need to upgrade your discs and pads on the rears unless your car has 829bhp etc etc as you gain zero benefit from it (and anyway you wouldnt be using k sports if you had that power )

so ur saying the Brembo 4 pots are as good at the K sport 8 pots??? if you look at some of the best braking cars built most of them have near matching brakes front and rear

Ive had a full brembo conversion on my 02 wagon and i'm having MAJOR problems with the hand brake-ie it wont work at all.
The brakes have been stripped, upgraded, adjusted and everything else that could spring to mind.
Im gonna give Godspeed a ring tomorrow to see if he can either have a look or give any advice.
Problem is,i sold my standard rears so i hope it can be sorted...I dont know if this is an inherant problem with this conversion, but if youre thinking of following suit,i wouldnt bother as it can be a complete pain in the bum
