Stopping brake dust
Is there any thing that can be done to stop the brake dust from building up on my white alloys? i.e like some kind of seal or something around the caliper. Have the standard 4 pots but want to get them sprayed and reconditioned at some point aswel if possible.

Yeah Id love to wash mine every week too, but everytime I get thetime to do it the weather goes crap and Im not in the mood to spend £7 every week for a car wash, even though the lads there are good! Had a look at the Poorboys website, will give that a go.

White/Stainless wheels are a pain to keep clean. Even worse in winter. Not taking the p*/*-s here but have you considered changing black wheels. I changed mine and have not gone through a winter yet but they look a lot better as you cannot see the brake dust half as much. Still clean them weekly though to prevent a build up.

Im using the Mintex pads aswel.
I have thought about changing the colour to either just gold or black with a red outline. Gona give some of the wax a try this weekend and see how I go. Loads of spokes on the Inovit Tarmacs which makes it even harder to clean

It did get to a point where the dust built up so much that I didnt want to touch it cos I knew Id be there for ages. Took it down the car wash and the guys was there for a good 15mins doing the front wheels. Gave him a good tip for that!

ive seen dust guards some years ago, but any cover you put on there will effect the cooling on your brakes so would'nt be advised. regular cleaning is the only way, i recommend getting your wheels painted black

I would give the alloys a really good clean and polish them with something like AG SRP followed by a wheel wax like for instance poorboys wheel sealant.
Just to note, a brake pad that does not dust, is a brake pad that is not working.
