I wouldnt go with a budget brand on a high performance car tbh, if you want good but not seriously expensive then look at these, one of the best tyres you can get for the scoob and remember, its the tyre that keeps you on the road!!

I`ve got those on my classic at the moment (were on the car when i bought it) i`d say they were ok but nothing special in the dry and in the wet they are absolute rubbish.

Heard today that Federal have new tyre out RS-R or summat which is really cheap but a good alternative to R888's....

At £80 a corner they must be worth a try ?

It's worth considering that the only part of your ( very powerful ) car that contacts the road is a tiny patch of rubber on each tyre, then by all means try cheap tyres. At least then when you end up upside down in a field you can be happy that you saved a few quid by fitting cheap rubber !

After having used a cheap tyre on my wifes escort years ago, and it completely failing at 70mph on a motorway when only a couple of weeks old, there is no way I would bother risking it for the sake of saving a small amount of money.

i have looked at camskills site, dont know if it is just there site but every tyre option is R rated, this isnt right surely? i'll be going for v rated for my tyres so camskills prices are good but would have to ring them, there site seems a little basic to be honest?

just got toyo proxes price of 248 quid for 4 205/50/16's

Had them on my first Scoob

Cr@p in the dry, Dangerously cr@p in the wet and SO LOUD I THOUGHT I HAD A WHEEL BEARING GONE!

Try Toyo T1R or Goodyear GSD3, both highly rated on here and I've been very happy with both on my Scoobs, albeit in the less radical 16inch size. Others have their favourites too....and this is an old thread. July? must have sorted something by now. What did OP get in the end?
