4 Wheel alignment ??
Hi
Just went down to Quick fit to get my tracking sorted, before you say anything they where the only ones open. I wanted the front wheels done as they are wearing on the out side. He said they can not do this as I need all 4 wheels done and a geometry adjust but the rear tyres are fine is this right ?
Is wheel alignment and geometry set up the same thing ?

Will definitely look in to this. They say the cost is generally as a rule of thumb, the cost of a tyre for the said vehicle.
Yeah and I run 135/50/13 - can I have a reciept as well

I've watched it done at a cheapo place like that, rather than proper places like Powerstation where the Scoob was done.
They affix little lasers to the rear wheels and mirrors to the front ones, then align the fronts with the rears and with each other.
The problem I saw was the "hit and miss" method of laser/mirror fixing onto the wheels in question
Having said that, if you've hit something, or got odd tyre wear, it would be better to have someone like that check it, than to do nowt.
Also bear in mind that once odd wear STARTS on a tyre and gets to the stage where it's visible to the eye, you'll not stop it , not even by alignment, until you get new tyres.

I had mine done at Tyres | Discount Car Tyres | Wheels | Alloy Wheels | Wheel Alignment | Wheel Balancing I think they charge £15 for a check and report and then you can agree what they do to rectify. They then give you another report to show its aligned. Never looked back, a couple of weeks later I put all new tyres on there too and it made a hell of a difference in ride and handling.

I had my1999 scooby done at ATS.free check. £29 for front and the same price for the back so £58 for both. great bunch of lads in chipping sodbury i live in bath and it was well worth the drive. could have gone to the one in bath but i have been to the chipping sodbury site 4 times before.
