Default brake calipers

ive just had car in for service
but when they came to do change brake fluid they saw both front bleed nipples were broke or snapped off

they say its sometimes easyer to replace calipers than try & get old nipples out if

if i replace calipers should i get new 4pots ,discs pads etc or something like tarox 6pot kit or something along that line

if so what price iam looking at

look on ebay mate for impreza 4 pot brembos, they will bolt straight on and are miles better than subaru 4 pots, looking at £500-600 for second hand disks and callipers. They odviously snapped those nipples off your callipers because they were stuck fast,so probally a lost cause, wouldnt like to try and drill and retap them...

Be careful with Scoob Brembos, not all wheels will fit over them.
Give Alyn at ASPerformance, or Ian at Godspeed a ring, they will know what's what, and can advise and sell you bits. Both top blokes

If you have 18" wheel, most likely it will fit brembo without spacers BUT this may not be true. You have to look at your 18" wheel offset. Brembo calipers are extra wide because of their piston pit design. Also, if you have some awkward design 18" wheel that have machine lip or goes in really deep, most likely it will not fit brembo calipers.

I would suggest you get a set of 4-Piston with 13" disc Modulo Brakes kit for your car. It is equal to the brembo f40 series 4-pot, but half the price! And without wheel clearance problems! So consider that =)

Comes in blue also~

Have a look at the K-Sport brakes too (there is a group buy on the go at the moment I think). Great brakes and at a reasonable cost.
