I'm another dissatisfied ZZ-1 user!! Not too bad in the dry (they've got an AA traction rating), but in the wet they are downright scary - understeer at the slightest opportunity without any warning whatsoever..
I've recently changed to Goodyear F1's , and they are miles better. If anything the threshold of dry grip is slightly lower, but they are so preidcable when they are losing grip, and the wet grip is just way, way better.

@ the ZZ1.
Worst tyre I have ever come across IMHO I had one on my scoob when I bought it and every time I went round a corner where the weight shifted to that tyre, I'd lose the back end (was on the rear near side) - in the wet it was just outright dangerous.
Get em off and put on some tyres that grip!!! Toyo T1-S or Goodyear F1 GS-D2 are the two of choice

Not impressed with Avons in wet, my car nearly went to scooby heaven with these tyres on, pulled onto a main road in wet conditions turning left and the car started to spin with a big truck coming up very close to hitting it, managed to correct it ( just glad the wife wasnt driving it at the time ), I have changed to dunlop sport which feel alot more safer in the wet and fantastic in the dry.

I've got ZZ1's on to, I totally agree, in the wet they are complete sh1te. Question for ppl running ZZ1's, do u get alot of road noise from them on 16" rims? compared to decent rubber like F1's or toyo's? coz I do
I refuse to buy new rubber until these are worn out thou, should take a couple of weeks

Dont wait to change.... Tyres on a car like these should never be Run down to the limit. The tyre is the single most important thing on the car. ZZ1 are dangerous in the wet. You could kill yourself or someone by using them..
