225/45 in a Goodyear or Vredestein would be ok as they are quite fat tyres but anything else I would want 235 to protect the rim. Don't know if they would rub, how hard do you push in corners ?

235/45/17 is JDM STi standard issue on later models, may well of been on earlier models too but can't remember tbh.

i think my 03 Spec-C used to run those.

sure they will be ok on a JDM bugeye, so will give em a go... unless anyone else knows better!!

Depends on brand of tyre as some are wider even though they say they are the same size. 40mm is quite alot so i would think about 40's if your one for pushing. Do you carry passengers?

probably go for Toyo T1R's as i can get them at half decent prices at the mo.

Passengers sometimes. Usually only push on when alone of maybe with one passenger.

Go to the Ring once a year tho, and will also be doing the odd track days.

My 235/35/19's just catch on the back 2002 STI.

Mainly depends on the wheel offset.
