Default Yokohama tyres

I am considering Yokohama Parada 215/40/17 tyres as they are fitted for £65 each.
I only do around 5k miles per year (if that) so a soft compound isn't an issue.
Any thoughts?

Hi bob i have just got a set of these and i must say im not totally sold on them yet.

They feel very different to toyo,s which i ran for about 5 years or so i think it maybe down to sidewall construction, they feel slightly wooden if thats any pointers, again this is just my own opinions......

Awesome grip in the dry....not so good in the wet. Does tent to spin the wheels fairly easy in the damp conditions. Doesnt bother me so im about to order another set of 4.

I reckon they are a damn good tyre for the price. Hang on well on track days due to the big blocks on the outside edge. They don't seem to overheat as rapidly as a Toyo T1-R with its smaller tread blocks. Not that bad in the wet. I ran them in a hillclimb in the rain last week and they hung on pretty well.

On Saturday morning I took delivery of a set of Parada Spec 2's they will be fitted to the car next week after the garage has done my suspension work and I have had one last track day this weekend out of the tyres I have

I pretty much got them for the same reason, I do not drive the car everyday so when I do go out I want that extra grip

I got my spec 2's through Tyre Traders @ about £70 each plus delivery so £65 fitted is a damn good price
