Default Gold Brembos on a Classic Impreza, what wheels?

Hi, I'm looking for some 17x7 inch wheels that will fit over the gold brembos I have fitted to my '96 classic.

Has anyone got gold brembos on a classic if so what wheels are you running, I am having real trouble finding some that will fit over the calipers.

Any help much appreciated.

Rob.

Would some of the Prodrive/Oz wheels fit? They seems to fit over the AP Racing 6pot kits and the Alcon kits ok.

I'n hoping someone can tell me because a trial and error scenario could prove expensive.

I think its the offset that you need to look at. I have ET45 18"s on mine and I was told that the Brembos would not fit with that ET.

As Phill says you'll need an ET45 offset wheel, but not all wheels are the same due to spoke design, my Team Dynamics Pro Race 1s have more clearance on the spokes than the standard STi wheels.

I bought some pff7's on the suppliers advice when i first got the brakes and they didnt even nearly fit. Tried some Speedlines today and the same, Ordered some tarmac rally wheels from compomotive after filling in their dimensions form to guarantee clearance.

thanks for the help.
