Default Lump out of sidewall

Anyone tell me if a small lump out of the sidewall of a tyre is dangerous/need replacing. Approx size of lump taken out is 2cm x 2cm and it's about 1-2mm deep. Advice please?

Cheers Barney

unless you've damaged the sidewall inner steel and nylon support- noticeable by an 'egg' growth - assume everythings fine
