Flat tyre
Drove about 15 mile today to have to pull over with a flat tyre. Put space saver on to get to tyre place to find the tyre is absolutely shagged, so they put me some £70 tyre on as they didnt have toyo's in which I have on others.
My question is, the old tyres have done about 6000 miles and have pretty good tread on them, will it hurt having just 1 brand new tyre on?
Cheers

I recently had a puncture on mine aswell , tyres had done 10,000 miles , so I replaced both, and the good one is now stored in the garage, Just in case It happens again, so the I have at least a tyre I can quickly go to .

Well, i had a puncture in one of my fronts, and the other front was measured at 4 mm tread left, and i was advised about changing both, and in my mind i already knew this, so like Barmyclown says above, i had both done and put the other good one in the garage for a spare in case!

Im a bit skint now for 2 weeks. Anyone have any idea if it will be alright running 1 new tyre for that long and does it take a while for it to do damage using different size tread tyres on a 4 wheel drive car
