Default Any disk ideas?

Done me a good old search but thought i'd see what the latest opinions are
I want some grooved (cos i want the look ) front disks for my MY99 uk Turbo. Had the Godspeed ones and managed over 25k off them and want a similar milage off the new ones. Any experience with the Black Diamond ones? Price looks good to me?

I would get another set of Godspeed discs, I have them, front discs with alloy centres and rear vented 2 pot upgrade on my 97 uk. The rear discs are DBA and Ian then cuts a groove in them. My experience with black diamond discs, fronts ok but the back discs warped

I would go with the Godspeed again to be honest, but i'm fully aware how difficult it is at times to get stuff off him even after it's been paid for - or have things got better on that front now?

Assuming it's been a while since you got the old pair of discs off Ian, the new ones may well have 'curved' grooves now.... he's a got a fancy new machine!!!

Why not at least give him a shot.... he may have them on the shelf!!

I've had my present ones for 2 years now and they are of the 6 grooved variety - curved aswell
I prefere the straight grooves to look at, and from what i can see on his website, they have 12 straight grooves which suit me fine.
I've emailed him about them. Are they made to order or off the shelf?

Quick up date.
Ended up going back to Ian and getting the 12 groove disks.
Cheque posted on the 23rd and disks arrive on 28th Paired them up with ceramic reds and i'm very impressed. The ceramic reds are hugely improved from the none ceramic variaty

I have Black Diamond drilled and grooved fronts with the EBC ceramic pads and whilst not great cold are pretty good when warmed up.
The pads are very hard though and have scored the discs in less than a year (apparently might be little stones getting stuck in there!).

Just (this morning) had the same fitted to the rear and i now have a horrible scraping noise which the garage says is them bedding in and rubbing of the "Paint finish". Is this likely to be correct?
