Just after your comments / advise

I currentyl own a 54reg STI type uk and its getting to the stage where the front pads need replacing. I am quite happy to replace them myself as I begrudge paying the dealer £200 for the privilege. However I am happy to refit the original type pads. So my question is what are the original pads (make) and where can you get them from appart from the dealer.
I have been reading some of your comments and I to have had experience with aftermarket pads being a little better than a bar of soap. So like I say my preference is to stick to the originals as I have had no problems with lampposts, Pensioners and other road users experiencing the lack of brakes
