Default Bugeye disks

Hi People,

The front discs need replacing on my 2001 WRX.

Can anybody recommend an upgrade which isn't going to cost more than £200?

Or should I just buy original disks and maybe get some better pads?

Any info would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Charlie

You've just missed a groupbuy for discs http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthrea...2&page=1&pp=30 from http://www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk/

If your discs are OK then definately uprate your pads instead try http://www.asperformance.com/

The disks are definitely shot, so if anybody can tell me a good combination for discs and pads it would be appreciated

I've searched and found most people seem to recommend the Pagid or Ferodo for pads, but there's not much info on disks.

Does anybody know what the damage is for standard (Subaru) disks?

Thanks,

Charlie

Have you thought about the Legacy GT brake upgrade?

http://www.subaruwrxparts.com/wrx-braking.html

Legacy GT Front Brake Upgrade
Upgrade your front brakes to those found on the Legacy GT Turbo model. Kit includes two 12.4" vented rotors, two two-pot calipers with brackets, and one set of pads. Requires at least 17" wheels for fitment.

Price:$625.00

edit found it cheaper here:
https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/p...roducts_id=948

and matching rear
