Default RE070 - are they directional?

Simple question; are RE070 tyres directional? (They're not even listed on the Bridgestone site so don't know where to check?)

Many thanks

Just obtained a set on new car and they're 'sided' rather than 'directional'. In other words, the semi-slick part of the tread goes on the outside, while the conventional pattern is on the inner part of the wheel.

It says OUTSIDE.......on the outside, if it says OUTSIDE on the inside you got them on inside out, or ouside in....

Thanks - got the outside / inside bit :-)

The tread looks directional though - but guess it mustn't be.

I think mine have the 'OUTSIDE' on the wall and a direction arrow.

AndyC_772's have "outside" written on them.

If you put the outside egde on the inside they'll be the wrong way round...

(That was a good write up in True Grip, Andy)

Actually I realised, the pic doesn't really answer the question - you do have to fit them the right way round (inside vs outside), but it's not clear whether or not there are dedicated left & right handed versions. Some versions of the Pirelli P-Zero certainly do come in l/h and r/h versions, but it's quite unusual.

I'll try and remember to check the car tomorrow and see.

They are not directional as such, say like the toyo T1s which has a directional tread pattern, but they do need to be put on with the outside marking to the outside.

Agreed. Just checked, and whilst they have a distinct inside and outside, they don't come in l/h and r/h versions.

Not directional (have 'inside' written on the inside), but are these babies nervous or what
I'll have to scrub them in some more before I can let rip
