Default pirelli p zero rosso. any good in the wet?

as above please, kwik fit are doing a deal of 25% off if you buy four. nailing them down to actually give me that discount is proving a bit of a challenge over the phone, but before i go full bore into it, are they any good?

pirellis big letdown for me is wet grip, just wondered if the new 'uns are improved over the p zero assimetrico?

eagle F1's are my first choice, do the pirellis get near them?

I've used Pzero's and have to say i find them a bit skittish in the damp / wet.

F1's seem to be firm favorites in the wet. Also worth considering areToyo T1-R

I've just changed my set up from Pzero to Toyo T1-S 215/45/17 @£74 per corner inc VAT and balance.

i have the T1-S and am thinking of changing coz i really dont rate them in the wet, perfect in the dry ofcourse but not in the wet, maybe my driving style but at high speeds in the wet i always feel im about to loose it sometimes when im not really cornering that fast!

Thats an interesting comment Micky. Before i settled for Toyo's i did a little research. With the exception of one or two most rated these tyres quite highly in the wet.

What you going for this time?
