You would have to get spacers for the calipers to go along with any thicker discs.

Godspeed do a 294mm x 28mm thick disc and bell to use with the standard subaru calipers , you also get alloy spacers to widen the calipers

I've been looking at the godspeed 335 kit, the discs are £135 each, the pads are approx £70 (based on ebc reds XJS fiyment), which means you are paying nearly £300 for the steel bracket, caliper spacers and bolt/spacer kit, which if you are capable of making yourself, sounds a little over priced. Plus the costs of the discs are a little off putting st service time. I was just investigating fitting 330ishmm discs, standard thickness (24mm) and making my own mounting bracket to suit.

Remember you're also paying for the alloy bells. These are pretty expensive from in any kit.

replacement discs are just that - just the disc and not the mounting bell. all of the large bell/disc kits are like this - AP, Brembo, etc..

Not sure exact costs, but probably at least £200.

You can see the seperate alloy bell in your other post in Dyneys pics.

Cheers ozzy, the kit doesn't look so expensive now.

You have a top website by the way?

There is no way that you can say that the kit is overpriced, not if you had been in a car with them fitted anyway!"!!!!

At the current price it is excellent value!!!!!

I didn't realise that the bells weren't included in the £135 , so i just thought that cost of the brackets etc were a bit excessive, but i now realise that this does seem a very well priced upgrade, and will most likely going for it in the very near future.
