Default Ready for a laugh?......................

My MY99 is at the dealer for it's 75k service. I've just recieved a phonecall stating that my rear disks need replacing (on since new ). "How much?" i ask. The reply was, £199+ vat Naturally i told them to get stuffed.
So my question is - where can i get some nice std rear disks for much less? I don't wanna buy some that'll only last a year or so, so when i say cheap, i don't mean nasty

Wink

I think Godspeed do both the standard solid ones, or a vented one for that car.

I did mine over xmas, easy job, 20 mins/side inc a coat of paint on calipers (black). Easy job m8. Suprising how much braking actually improved. Daz

Followed a link from the ads at the bottom of one post to http://www.quality-brakes.co.uk/ and was amazed at the difference in price between their OE parts and Subaru prices - I know dealers are expensive but the difference is huge.
I think I was quoted £80+VAT for rear pads and they have them for £32 delivered. Fronts are only £31
