Default uprated discs with std pads. any probs with this combo?

sorry to post here, but got no replies at all in the brake section.

is this ok to do this? looking at buying a grooved disc mated with OE spec pads.
not after an increase in brake power, just want to know if this will lead to certain problems?

This won't cause any problems but I'd go for a set of EBC Greenstuff pads as well....much better braking over the OE items with better feel. Also, almost zero brake dust to get on the wheels. I use the EBC grooved discs and greenstuff pads and the price was similar to a set of standard items.

So why would you want to do this if you don't want better brakes?

blimey, been waiting for 6 hrs for an answer in the wheel etc section and i get one in a matter of seconds in general

only using OE pads coz i've already got them from a group buy and will be using the uprated dicsc if i win then on ebay fingers crossed.

personally not too keen on EBC, but with all these things it's a personal choice

If you've got standard 2 pots? then you can get EBC Turbo discs (grooved and spotted) for about £110 inc vat and delivery from Camsport (search on google). Great disc - great price!! (4 pot discs about £120)
