does anybody know what's happened to the wax wizard ?
i've been trying to get in touch with mark for over a week now, his phone keeps ringing, his 0800 number isn't working and i haven't received the stuff i ordered over the net !
have also noticed that the scoobynet shop have stopped selling his stuff...anybody know why ?
would be interested to know if anyone else has ordered anything recently..and more importantly..received it ?

Been in corespondance with him approx 2 weeks ago. he mentioned in his mail that he would be away for about 1 month abroad.
Did you have any luck using the card type as there did not seem to be any drop down menu.
Trust this helps

I got some stuff a couple of weeks ago, but I've also been trying to get hold of Mark to find out how I use it. He did tell me when I ordered it, but I can't remenber.
Who knows what I do with Clay Bars, Cleanse No. 2 and Acrylic Paint Sealer ?

kwack,
thanks for that, i didn't actually place the order but i've since checked the site and you're right i can't select the card type (perhaps that's one reason why i haven't received anything)!
i'll go and check with who ordered it and see what's going on, i'm sure they had a order reference number !!
if he's away for a month, do you know anywhere else that stocks his stuff ?
cheers

I'm afraid I dont know anything about the paint sealer however I can help you with the other two
The cleanser is very simple to use
You just apply it with a cloth or the WW applicator pad ( using plenty of elbow grease ) to a panel at a time and buff it off using a cotton towel or something similar
It prepares the paint for waxing by removing minor swirls and blemishes etc..
After you have cleansed you should apply a coat of wax or two
As for the clay bars....
1st thing you need to do is make sure your car is clean and dry
Then you spray the provided lubricating spray
generously onto a small area of your car and rub the bar back and forth using parallel strokes with medium pressure until all the contamination is gone...you can tell its gone by rubbing your hand along the panel ... if its smooth then you've done a good job!
Then you just wipe off the residue with a towel or cloth and buff it to a nice finish
I would recommend using the clay bar first before you use any of the other products
Its amazing how much crap it removes
Tar ...brake dust ....grime allsorts!
I think its one of the best products I've ever bought for my car
I would then use the cleanser and finish off with two coats of wax
Believe me you will be impressed (and tired) when youve that lot done
Well worth the effort!
Hope this helps

The paint sealer (IMO) is THE best product Mark does. Absolute doddle to apply and buff (10 minutes to do whole car) leaves paintwork and windows silky and gleaming. Wax on top of sealant gives bodywork teflon qualities

Thanks guys - I got a bottle of Enhancement - is that the lube for the clay bars ? I vaguely remeber Mark saying that I should put this into a spray bottle - would that be right ? I also remeber something should be diluted - is that the Clenase and if so does anyone know by how much ?

The enhancement bottle is the lube for the clay bar
I thought this already came in a spray bottle ??
Mine did....however if yours isn't It would be better if you put it into one....you'll find it easier to use
AFAIK you dont have to dilute the cleanser
I didnt and it worked just fine for me
