Tyres sh#*ed
#1
Just replaced two front tyres as inner edge on each was excessively worn, this is the second time that the same characteristics have shown up and although the guy at the tyre service said "it's not unusual" (didn't look like Tom Jones)and the tracking checked out within manufacturers tolerance, I'm concerned. Wheels/tyres are std 99my size and are subjected to zero track day use (in fact mostly m'way miles). Any thoughts ?

Not done enough miles to wear out tread on the Scoob, but had this problem on my old car (Toyota MR2). The front tyres always wore out on the inner tread edges, the reason being that lots of motorway driving (and subsequently less hard corning)will do this. Toyota confirmed that the wheel set-up (max. tread in contact with road) was only for fast cornering, and would expect motorway driving to cause this effect.
Likely that this is case for most "high performance cars". (MR2 nowhere near to the P1 though )
