Tyres in the North West

Does anyone have any recommendations for suppliers of SO2's in the Manchester, Warrington, Lancs area. I have spoken to SMD tyres in Leigh and he was asking around £160 a corner.

Jim Jeffreys in Stockton-Heath (Warrington) have always given me good prices, and they're a proper high-performance tyre outfit too!
Having said that, I decided to try a set of 215/40x17" Toyo Proxes T1-S from Tyres Northampton and they did them for £90 each! Got a mate to pick them up and then had them fitted by Revolution in Newcastle for £28. Significantly cheaper than S-02 PPs, and in most people's opinion an equally good tyre!
I believe that Pemberton Tyres (near Wigan?) were offering four 215/40x17" S-02s for £500 all in ... might be worth a ring if you can find a number!

I use Pemberton for 17" SO2 PPs - £499 all in. Their number is 01942 222413, ask for Alan or Nick

I recently got 4 205/45 x 17 pirelli P-Zeros delivered to my door for £399.50 from Micheldever Tyres in Winchester Tel 01962 774437 and my local mates tyre place fitted them for £20

Tyres Northampton will be attending the Oulton Park track day on Jan 27th if anyone wants to pick up a set of tyres from them there.

Try giving Oldham Tyre and Exhaust a ring on 0161 628 8929.
They recently supplied me with 4 off
P-Zero's 205/50-ZR16 fitted balanced, new valves for £372 including VAT.
They have always been very good on price.
Wheelbase in Chadderton wanted £470!!
