Tyre Tread

Hi
Just a quick question if anyone has a view. I have 3mm all round on my original Bridgestone's. At what level would most folks change tyres in order to avoid any compromise of safety ?I live in Edinburgh and consequently have to drive in the wet a lot !!
cheers

Hi Rico
If you're using the OEM tyres, you are already compromising safety. Get a set of Bridgestone SO2 Pole Positions.
Generally you can change tyres as they approach the legal minimum. However, an enthusiastically driven Scoob will wear the tyre shoulders pretty quick (outside edge of each front tyre). It's best, although expensive to replace the tyre when the shoulders are worn.
