Just thought I'd add my name to the ever growing list of people who have had exceptional service from these guys.

Had a set of T1-S 205/50 ZR16 fitted on saturday at £90 a shot, and got talked into buying a Scorpion bb while there. What ever you do dont let Mark put one on your car "Just so you can hear what it sounds like"

Question

Steve,
hope u don't mind me asking, how much did they fleece u 4 the Scorpion BB ?
What does the TP looklike, dia, rolled edges etc?
I was told I have a scorpion BB but have never seen another one to compare!
Just for info, I can get hold of Goodyear F1 eagles 215/40 17" for £92 balanced fitted.
Not sure how much my source would charge me for TOYO's??????

I too have recently purchased a set of 215/40x17 Toyos for £90 each from Tyres Northampton. Very impressed with their service as they actually drove over to Toyo to pick the tyres up for me, and had them waiting in a pile for me when my mate dropped in to pick them up. In adddition to that they were helpful, friendly and knowledgable on the telephone. Ten out of ten!

Andrew.

Steve,

I went there a few weeks ago to get a set of new alloys and SO2s. Again excellent service.

Had exactly the same experience as you with regards to the Scorpion bb while there.

"Try it just so you can hear what it sounds like" Obviously I bought it when I did as it made the car look and sound alot better, although no real performance gain as I opted not to go for the downpipe or centre section (with the cats in) yet...

Really pleased with it as not too noisy, another happy customer.

Jacko: The bb is round, 3.5 inch diameter, rolled end. The previous version I believe is 4 inch diameter.

Paid 180ish+vat for the back box I think, and as Andy says sounds great and looks pretty good as well.

The combo of the tyres and bb has brought the grin back when driving the car.
