What's everyones favourite product for waging the war against brake dust ?? Please answer before I get seriously addicted to Wonder Wheels fumes !
Cleaning my ex P1 alloys currently takes about the same time as the rest of the car. There must be some kind of protective application out there somewhere ????

Cheers,
Neil.

Thumbs up

Been using Zymol wheel coat you spray it on after cleaning and the next time you clean the gunge comes off a lot quicker.

Not sure if Wax Wizard still does these kits comprising of Gel Cleaner, Brush + Wheel coat.

By the way I have OZ SuperTourismos twice the amount of spokes.

Been using up my Autoglym polish on my wheels. Since I use WW products on the bodywork. Seems to work well.

Saj - your OZs are well worth the extra cleaning time !

Dave - I'll give that a go, I've got some Autoglym hiding somewhere.

Thanx chaps, any more suggestions welcome.

Neil.

WHOA...

Wizard of Wax wheel cleaner, way better than wonder wheels, autoglym and everything else I have ever used, and it doesn't damage wheels like wonder wheels.

PS I have OZ Super Ts too, so I KNOW about wheel cleaning!!

But Green stuff are only 'road pads', and don't fair well on track. Mintex 1155s give better stopping, less fade etc.

Best alloy cleaning tip I know is buy alloys with five or less spokes and, yes OZ Super T's are worth the effort but I'm going to try a set of Polaris, anyone else got those on a Scoob?

Thanks for the link, lovely. Exactly the way mine is going to look - it's silver too and I also intend to get clear indicators/repeaters as soon as I take delivery. Looks the biz.
