Question

Just a quick one... Can anyone give me a definitive answer on rubber for 18" FF7s for my STi8? I've been told 225/40/18, but I'm not all the confident in my source!

Thanks, as always, in advance for the help

Been running the Prodrive 18" wheels on my Sti7 for nearly two years now 225x40x18 is the correct tyre size. 3 of my mates run them on their Sti's as well.

Brilliant - thanks, Jools. Now to find some F1 at a decent price in that size :-)

I put a set of Good Year GSD3's on the car only 3 months ago and got them from Blackcircles for 115 quid a corner, inc fitting at my local dealer. (with SIDC discount)

See the winter tyre thread; Just put on winter tyres and I got them from "mytres" so shop around and haggle for the best price.

33 all round for me and a fair bit more for track use. Car will feel a bit softer with a tad less, but not so "sharp" with the GSD3's. My thoughts anyway!

Just started running some PZero Neros, they feel soft with 31 all round (as suggested by the fitter, what do they know?) so I’ll try 33, thanks for the help.
