depands on what make you have fitted.......we only supply "goodridge" kits a they have the correct fittings to re-connect using the orginal style (and not that much more expensive to get the 'right' thing!!)

if it is a "cheaper" type kit then you normally have to resort to something like 'cable ties'.......

Yes as Alyn says the good ones do have a block in the middle of the hose to hold it onto the strut , we make up our own pipes for the brembo calipers and have sourced these blocks to fit , if yours dont have them fit a piece of rubber hose to the braided hose them tie it to the strut , it wont rub and wear through the braided hose then

As Alyn said Cable Ties, but make sure you can get the suspension travel first, before you fix them.

Question

Hi, CAn you tell me if there was any differance in the pedal feel after you fitted the hoses -

I only want to know this if all you did change was the hoses alone and nothing else, so I can have good idea of before and after.

Just that I've done the usual disc/pad/fluid upgrades and have been told to do the hoses to improve the feel, I'm still rather cynical on this, so an opinion would help my judgement
