currently using 205/45/17, going to change to 215/45/17 will this cause a problem......?

If you can search there's too many threads out there regarding wheels catching the strut body or wheel arch lip.

IMO you might look at 215/40s instead of 215/45s. Less chance of catching on bodywork or suspension. The rolling radius will probably be closer too.
