just fitted these myself. started with 38 front 35 rear. i am now reducing pressure every couple of days to get best ride/ grip. dont under inflate or they will overheat and crack side walls.

Just fitted 225/35 ZR 18" Pirelli's on mine - garage set them at 32 all round - is this underinflated?
Can't afford to replace 'em too soon!

someone on p1 forum had a sticker on their P1 saying 38 front 35 rear. i found this too hard. mike wood at prodrive suggested 34 front 32 back then experiment from there. check how hot they get on short journey you may be too low at 32. im on 36f/34r now.

Better put a bit more air in!
Just looking at BK Racing pamphlet - have you seen latest using nitrogen and oxygen mix to inflate? Apparently removes water vapour which then keeps tyres properly inlfated for much longer - interesting stuff eh!

Nitrogen and Oxygen?

That's air, isn't it!

Guess you mean pure cylinder nitrogen and oxygen. In that case why mix it? Just use the gas which is least likely to seep through the rubber / rim seal?

Or reduce weight and fill the tyres with helium!

I would guess that using pure Oxygen would be a tad dangerous. You get the tyre a bit too hot and it ignites...
I'm guessing the Nitrogen is there to make the mixture inert.

Garage compressors will incorporate a decent moisture trap anyway, so there'd be negligible advantage in using bottled gas.
